The International IFTECH Conference 2025, held on May 29 at the Expo Centre Lahore, successfully brought together leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from across the food technology ecosystem under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow’s Food Industry: Innovation, Intelligence, Integrity.” Organized by the National Alliance for Safe Food (NAFS), the conference served as a vital platform for advancing conversations on the future of food, driven by technological breakthroughs, data intelligence, and ethical responsibility.
This landmark event drew participation from a wide range of national and international delegates, including food scientists, policy makers, agrifood tech startups, multinational corporations, researchers, regulators, investors, and representatives from academia.
A central theme of the conference was integrity – with a strong call for transparency, traceability, and trust-building measures throughout the supply chain. Speakers also stressed the critical role of “Intelligence”—leveraging data and smart systems to improve food quality, safety, and nutritional outcomes.
The IFTECH Conference 2025 concluded with a renewed commitment to making Pakistan a regional leader in food innovation, while aligning with global standards and sustainability goals. The event not only fostered meaningful dialogue and partnerships but also laid the groundwork for transformative action in the region’s food industry.
