The National Alliance for Safe Food (NAFS) is a leading organization in the field of Food & Nutrition Science, established in 2016 aimed to ensure safe and nutritious food production, leading to safe food consumption, for the betterment of human society. NAFS believes in strong civil society and academic-industrial linkages and strives to act as a bridge between these entities. Our core objective includes bringing together Food Manufacturers, Trade & Consumer Associations, Academic Institutions, Food Technologists and members of civil society to highlight the growing need to implement and own a Food Safety Culture. Currently, NAFS Pakistan has collaboration with more than 25 educational institutes and hundreds of SMEs and large scale industries. NAFS has organized hundreds of National and International events including Conferences, Exhibitions, Symposiums, Summits, Training Sessions, Seminars, Policy Dialogues, Consultancy Clinics and much more with the close collaboration of Food Authorities, Ministry of Science and Technology, Planning Commission, International NGOs, Universities, Research Institutes, SMEDA, Chambers of Commerce Trade & Industry, Consumer Associations, Regulatory and Certification Bodies. Furthermore, Thousands numbers of professionals and students as well as a large number of Technical and Scientific experts, Trainers, Auditors, Industry Professionals and Social workers are also onboard with NAFS Pakistan.
