A Capacity-Building and Training Workshop for Officers of the Islamabad Food Authority was successfully organized by GAIN Pakistan in collaboration with the National Alliance for Safe Food. The event was held in the context of World Food Safety Day and aimed at strengthening the enforcement of food safety standards.

The workshop provided officers with essential knowledge and practical skills required to ensure safe food handling and regulatory practices. Key focus areas included modern inspection techniques, risk-based assessment, and effective engagement with Food Business Operators (FBOs).
